ESPN has had some MNF booth disasters. Remember that they also at one point had Dennis Miller in the booth.

I agree. He needs some polishing in the off season though. And it will fit ESPN's agenda of hiring minorities. Or they could try Sergio Dipp again. :stir:

I wonder if they would consider Michael Straham.

Hope not...the guy clearly hates to do his homework...needs to be spoon fed his lines.

Where do you get this from?

Watch him on the shows where he is the lead host.  He's an empty, disinterested lump reading from cue cards.  Impromptu football would eat him up.

Oh, good...a Matt Patricia reference already...

I didn't know that. I don't watch those shows. I like Sean McDonough, I think he's a solid play by play man but I wonder how well he would do with Romo as his partner. They should never have allowed Mike Tirico to leave. Tirico and Romo would've been great.

Kornheiser?  LOL.

Am I crazy or did he already have a stint in the booth?

Wilbon. Or better Stephen A Snith. And the Kardashians as sideline reporters.

They have seven officials on the field and not one of them can tell when a guys ass hits the ground?

If he didn't score, it would have taken a challenge to overturn it.  These zebras have to be accountable for doing something other than throwing flags...

The players were all bunched up, they all thought he landed on the defender.

The players are generally bunched up...as BB would say..."Do your job!"

I think they have been told to let the play continue.  If that's the NFL mandate, they should let the fanbase know...still...7 ref's missed another call.  The first game was a shambles...
