Video Embedding - Updated for 2017
« Topic Start: February 11, 2017, 11:51:01 PM »
I have replaced the old system for embedding YouTube videos with a newer one that is more robust and better supported.  It supports many platforms but I am only enabling YouTube for now.  I will consider adding others if asked.  Oh and the new way supports shortened "youtu.be" URLs

thanks, I can see / play videos in Safari on a Mac now (and on my phone).  Previously they only worked in Chrome.

And it keeps it in replies.... that's new, right?

I think the old one may have collapsed it (like pictures) in replies - which I would have preferred, but eh.

It's nice you don't have to delete the "s" in the https string, nor do you have to guess how to enclose the copy/paste string with a or http://.

Just copy-paste and let it flow.  Nice.
