Giants 1-4.

Brandon Belt says Bumgarner has been talking nonstop about how he led the team in HRs. Belt hit two today to pass him, Bumgarner response:  "that's ok, I play tomorrow."

Sure you had a good time.  Watched some of the Rockies game the other night from LA.

Too bad Tebow was not there; he could have put the fire out through prayer.

Otis Nixon went missing. Perhaps when they find him they will also find all the missing Braves fans.

Not sure if this belong here or in the beer thread. Braves' new ballpark highlights include a baseball-bat-wood-aged IPA. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/the-braves-new-ballpark-will-offer-a-beer-thats-been-brewed-with-baseball-bats/

Whenever I see anyone get busted anymore I think what an idiot, but then I wonder how many others aren't getting caught to make so many think they can get away with it?

Nandrolone! Wow, go big or go home.  Can't imagine any excuse for that one, as nandrolone basically has no medical applications.  It's just a pure PED.

Some of them might be boosting their performance in contract years. They might know the routine well enough to be able to determine what they can get away with and still keep the big money.

I bet the pirates are glad they didn't trade McCutcheon now. Too bad they poisoned the "lifelong Pirate" well too, no hometown discount in their future.

Yep. The Pirates have had a couple of decent seasons but I think their window has closed.

That sucks, I love watching him pitch. That said that is the most perfectly Bumgarner reason for a DL stint ever, well maybe behind getting stampeded by deer he was trying to kill
