Should be $10 for NL East teams. And the Yankees.  And the Red Sox.

It is cheap but for broadcasters, who make good money and essentially get a one month paid vacation in Florida each year, to complain about this is strange.

Should also mention that this isn't an issue for Charlie and Dave since the Nats are saving $by not broadcasting the game.

There have been 3 weeks worth of games already, almost all of them broadcast on the radio, but this guy is the first one to complain about being charged for water.  Something doesn't add up there.

Funny. It's only $4 in the stands.

More Braves are the Knights Templar of Unwritten Baseball Rules and Huge Anti-American D'bag action.

They noted the organizations who use the stadium —  the Astros and Nationals — don’t make decisions about such things.

They're just prepping the Cobb County faithful for the up-scale prices they are going to be paying in the Waffle House.

I didn't include that because of course the Nats can control whether guest broadcasters get comp water. This is a team that had me OK a 20 page legal disclaimer in order to access my tickets. They are control freaks, if they want to have water in the press box there will be water in the press box.

If the Lerners do that I become an A's fan or Rays fan. Whoever is the worst team in baseball because it would still be better than being a fan of a team owned by these numb nuts who know business, but don't know baseball business.

Don't laugh...they're actually thinking of doing this on the airlines.

In other news, I heard yesterday that the Lerners trail only the Mars candy family in Washington-area billionaire status (per Forbes magazine).

http://abcnews.go.com/Travel/Green/paying-pee-airlines-critics-call-ryanairs-fee-inhumane/story?id=10355139. <=== RyanAir, and I don't think they have any flight longer than about 4 hours. It's all short-ish flights.

A few years back, USAir tried charging for water and soda, that didn't work out too well (even though Spirit and Frontier do exactly that now).

A few years back, paying for a seat assignment was unheard-of....now it's becoming the norm, at least on discounted "economy minus" fares (delta and now AA do it, and WN has always been open seating).

The airlines will be as cheap as people let them. And the American public does shop for airfare on price so there will continue to be a race to the bottom.
