The Nats are going with the if you have to ask you can't afford it theory on listing beer prices. Note that they list the tax but not the actual cost.

Beyond that, WTF is up with these beers? Who drinks peppercorn beer? Who wants a piney, citrusy, caramel flavor beer? The Fair Winds is probably OK, but do I really care about kettle additions and a double dry hop process? I didn't know that DC Brau has a pilsner, I'll try that one, hopefully heavier on the hops and lighter on the German style.

I have little patience with craftbrews myself - most of them are too sweet or are infused with odd flavours (yes, I am very strongly of the 'don't-fruit-the-beer' persuasion). Just give me a proper Central or East European lager - a Lowenbrau, Tyskie, Cesis, A. LeCoq, Kobanyai or something in that neighbourhood and I'm quite content.
