Man... he's been pretty bad this season, hasn't he?

He's making our 2013 Dan Haren look like a Cy Young award winner...

Danny hitting .152, and Desmond cooling off after a blazing start at .275.

No, what would make that story truly sad is if he had signed that contract with Washington. He signed with another team so he's their freaking problem.

It's sad to see JZ fall apart like that.   Rizzo has lucked out with both Desmond and JZ turning down extensions.  If they had signed, we probably wouldn't have Turner and Scherzer.

Steven Souza makes arguably the worst diving catch attempt in baseball history.

Not so bad.    He simply misjudged it.      :couch:

By about 20'

The clip on MLB.com is great, with commentary and players/fans ribbing him, including a standing ovation.  He did jack a HR in the eigth.

You can't knock his work ethic

Souza would have been a great Nat if we had a place to play him, bit I'm happier with Turner.

In his defence, he also had no business diving for JZ's no hit ball.

He would have fit in really well in the old "three outcomes" Nats' lineups.

Hahahaha, it only SEEMS like GIDP was one of them. When people refer to three true outcomes in baseball they're talking about walks, Ks, HRs. They're called that because they are the events that are defense-independent.

Morse on the DL with a concussion.

From what I saw, it looked like Morse went after Bryce -hard-. It also looked like someone on the Giants is the one that slammed him down and caused the concussion.  I'm assuming it was just an accidental collision, but was surprised at how strongly Morse looked to be after Harper.
