After day 1 in the Atlanta bullpen, Ian Krol has an ERA of 81.

It's early.

off of Dull

noticed he has no facial hair now.  Is Scioscia one of those guys who doesn't think facial hair projects the right image for a gritty guy?

He shaved in the on-deck circle...

Saw a number of unshaven faces in the dugout on that clip, but no 3kJW faces among them to be sure...

Perfect situation for him. Team going nowhere so no pressure.

Tyler Moore's 2 for 2 this year, with a game tying RBI in the 9th among them.

Still wish we had never gotten rid of him.

Bronson Arroyo to start for the Reds tomorrow. He's I guess a former Nat even if he never actually threw a pitch for us.

Arroyo and Dontrelle Willis had the coolest deliveries before dumb pitching coaches doused the moxie.

Danny Espinosa went for $13 in my fantasy baseball draft.  Two guys with money needing to fill a position at the end.

Reports of JZimm's demise seem premature.  Six innings.  4 hits and one run versus the vaunted Red Sox lineup.

Sometimes it takes a guy a year or two to adjust when they lose something off their fastball.  We will see what happens.
