Anyone remember Alex Meyer? The former top pitching prospect is sitting on a 6.16 ERA at Salt Lake LAA affiliate in the PCL AAA. He made one start for the Angels on 4/21 and gave up 2 ER in 3.2 IP. He may get another chance with Tyler Skaggs' injury.
Absolutely bizarre that teams are still trying to use him as a 27-year old, 2-pitch starting pitcher. What a waste of an arm.
