The Silver Spring Zombie Walk ends at the Downtown Silver Spring entertainment center or the AFI Silver Theatre. They're one block from the Silver Spring Metro Red Line. The DJ stopped playing at 10:30 pm, which coincided with the AFI Silver showing The Night of the Creeps (1986.) During the film, the zombie-clad audience murmured B R A I N S !! when a zombie attack seemed imminent.

Count Gore de Vol, who hosted a Creature Feature show on Channel 20 from 1973 to 1987, introduced both versions of The Thing to a sellout audience earlier that day. He has been running a Count Gore Web site that streams horror films for 18 years. He appears at various conventions and is available for private parties, weddings, etc. See http://www.countgore.com/

I thought this boy had the best zombie outfit, with the wooden stake and his eyes gouged out.
