H-Rod numbers...

Hopefully not H-Rod control. I'd much rather him then Perez.

Nationals Have Interest In Angel Pagan

Looks like it would be on a minor league deal and I guess he could be a decent backup.

That'd be a great bench piece.

Suppose, suppose, they sign Pagan and then move Norris plus pieces off the 25 man roster for Robertson or Colome.  That would be a ridiculously good off-season.

Bench of Pagan, Heisey, Drew, Lind, and Lobaton.   Bullpen of Robertson / Colome, Kelley, Treinen, Solis, Glover, Perez, Gott.  Thin if starting pitching gets hurt in multiple numbers, but there's guys like Jason Marquis (pitching for Israel in the WBC) etc... who may be willing to be stockpiled in AAA.

As long as one of them isn't Robles, sign me up. I'm not super high on Robertson, but something for the backend would be great!

I'm thinking that Norris, plus Stevenson and Severino, would be a deal I'd do quickly.  I'd swallow hard if it were Soto rather than Stevenson and Severino in the package, but I'd probably do it.

There is no way you're getting Colome without giving up a crap ton

oh, sure.  I just think Soto is the start of a ton.  Given the cheap control, probably Lobaton, Severino, and Soto.  Lobaton as a cheap bridge to Ramos, Severino for their pipeline, and Soto because he's the highest upside OF not named Robles.
