I can't buy this. Win this game and it is a huge advantage. You have arms for tomorrow, including long guys. kill this game, tomorrow is gravy, and you can strategically save the pen for game 5 if you are behind. Let this game get close and slip away, you burn guys and you don't have your weapons when you need it. Just a bad decision.

Agreed. It's the playoffs and not a good time to dick around and "let the starter sink or swim." You win at all costs in a game 3 tied at 1-1.
