If Kelley is feeling up for it I think they should just roll with him in the bottom.

We could score 4 runs here so I can unclench a bit. That would be nice.

Hell of a job by Kelley.

Ahhhhhh much better.

So was RZ's a hit or error ?

Well hit by Face, but the RF should have caught that. I'll take it though.

Now that we're up 4, do we save Melancon? Remember he pitched Games 1 and 2 and if we're leading late tomorrow by only a run or two, we'll want to use him. Maybe save him today up 4. Just a thought.

He threw a lot yesterday and we need at least one fresh lefty

I think it was hit too hard to be an error. It wasn't an easy play by any means but one a professional RF should make in that spot in a playoff game.

So was RZ's a hit or error ?

I wouldn't call that a routine play.

It scored 2 runs and he ended up on third.  I could not care any f'in less about how it happened.

But for the record, double, 2 RBI, to third on the throw home.

Melancon has already warmed up so just let him go out there and finish this no huss no fuss. If we're leading in the 9th tomorrow we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

have to save Melancon, if he can't close out a tight one tomorrow because he is fatigued Dusty will be fed to the wolves

They scored it a hit but it should've been an error.

Pittsburgh fans say you can throw him every day. For just one inning.

I'm with you on this.  Have Lopez, Treinen, and Scrabble well rested. Melancon should be able to do his one inning thing today.

I guess this gives him two days rest to be available for game 5 if necessary.
