1. Chase Utley (L) 2B
2. Corey Seager (L) SS
3. Justin Turner (R) 3B
4. Adrian Gonzalez (L) 1B
5. Josh Reddick (L) RF
6. Joc Pederson (L) CF
7. Yasmani Grandal (S) C
8. Andrew Toles (L) LF
9. Clayton Kershaw (L) P

MAX KNOWS DOGERS
1. Trea Turner (R) CF
2. Bryce Harper (L) RF
3. Jayson Werth (R) LF
4. Daniel Murphy (L) 2B
5. Anthony Rendon (R) 3B
6. Ryan Zimmerman (R) 1B
7. Danny Espinosa (S) SS
8. Pedro Severino (R) C
9. Max Scherzer (R) P

"All of the chips are on the line," Scherzer said Thursday. "That fact that I get the ball, man, you couldn't ask for a better situation. It is going to be fun. It is what you play this game for. This is the best opportunity I could face. You want to be in these situations. It should be a good experience. I can't wait to come out here. It is the same game (but) every pitch is just a little bit more magnified." Scherzer is 2-4 with a 3.29 ERA in 10 games, with eight starts, in his career against the Dodgers.

Kershaw is 10-2 with a 2.02 ERA in 14 games, with 13 starts, against Washington. He was 1-0 this year after giving up six hits and one run in seven innings on June 20 in Los Angeles. Kershaw is 2-3 in NLDS series and 0-3 in the NLCS. Ryan Zimmerman is hitting .318 in 22 at-bats against Kershaw. Jayson Werth is hitting .313 with two homers in 32 at-bats against him. Bryce Harper is 1-for-15 against Kershaw.

Someone will need to post lineups, as I am likely unable to do that in time.

Scherzer should be extremely pumped for this one, and that bodes well for the team I think!!

He will be doing a lot of "stalking his prey" on the mound this evening, as F.P. would put it.

SO READY FOR GAME 1! Wearing red today to show the spirit.  I'm going to a wedding tonight (unfortunately) so I'll be watching on the FS1 app.

I was feeling hyped. Now I'm getting to that part before the game where I get nervous lol. Either way, game time cannot come soon enough.

I have to admit. These playoff games are excruciating.

Btw, "We Came to Reign" is also the Rangers slogan so I guess it's all the teams' slogan this year?

determined to go RLR at the top of the order.  Harper can work a count just like Werth, but I'd want Rendon clean up and a contact guy like Murphy 3d instead of a guy with a walk-driven OBP.  Right now, I'd go Turner - Werth - Murphy - Rendon - Harper, but maybe Dusty has seen something down the stretch making him lean this way.

Yeah it ties into their spring training gear which was "Train to Reign" for all teams.

In an interview he said this was because Werth and Murphy have both been successful against Kershaw and Royce hasn't.  One of Royce or Trea gets on and either way, you have good speed, and a couple guys who might be able to move them over.

For yunz at home (other than OC), MASN's pre-game starts at 4:30.
