Looks like Texas is going home tonight. Best record in the AL and they're on the way to being swept by the wild card team.

Could be.

But the Jays are good.

Let's get rid of the 2nd wild card and make the first round seven games.

No! I love those wild card games and I hate the whining about the 5 game series, you've got three games to win! If you're better than the other team you'll win them!

Why do this ?  How would it benefit MLB and baseball fans ?

What he really means is, "make the first round as many games as it takes for the Nationals to get on a hot streak and win by 1 game". But then they would nag when the Nats miss out because there is no more 2nd wildcard.

Toronto Blue Jays first eliminate the Balimore Orioless in the Wild Card playoff game. They now knock out the Texas Rangers, the Washington Senators team moved to Texas by Bob Short, who burns in hell as we speak.

If the Giants and Red Sox get eliminated, we're guaranteed to have a World Series champion that has not won in at least 20 years.

Despite that record, the Rangers were probably the weakest team in the playoffs, on either side. I didn't see the Hamels implosion coming, but the Jays are a better all-around team.

They won all those one run games during the season. Was a mirage.

Good, it wasn't a one time deal apparently and if you can't behave like normal people you can't have normal beer cans

skippy has developed an inordinate amount of disdain for blue jays fans. She sounds a lot like BiL. :hysterical:
