So ... Is tonight a quick game, or only feels quick because every other expanded roster September game seems to go four hours?

Espinosa has to be glad that the season is drawing to an end because that's the only thing that will keep him from dipping below .200

Has any batter ever had 200 K's while hitting < .200? Can't be many...

Hopefully someone will shock us in October and produce out of his mind and carry us to some postseason wins.  :w:

Zimm...he will put the team on his back.

Joe Maddon would have walked Rendon to get to Zimmerman. That's a fact.

Only one player in the history of baseball has "accomplished" that dubious feat. Mark Reynolds did it in 2010. He struck out 211 times and hit .198. Adam Dunn was the only other player who truly flirted with that in 2012. He struck out 222 times and hit .204. The interesting thing about that season is that Dunn also led the league in walks that same year.

great AB Espi.. can he still mathematically get to 200K's?

No . Five games left and if he has 4 AB's he can only K 20 times. Before last nite he was at 169 K's.

We can hope for extra innings.    :couch:
