Knowing you have to score 3 runs just to counter the Gio effect can't be easy on this team...

especially with the way they struggle to score

Rusty said he liked Gio's performance...except for that one inning.  Story of Gio's life it seems...can't put together a complete game...

Aside from the bubonic plague the 1300s were a lovely time to be alive.

Not true - Petit was sharp the first half of this season

Petit is perfectly capable of blowing games. Every time he comes in, he loses the game.

How did you like the play Mrs. Lincoln?     I'm a long time baseball fan but that game last night was impossible to bear./watch    Everytime ya looked up, Hurdle or Dusty was makin' a move.   Oh look, there goes Maddux to the mound.    I finished the game with C & D and they couldn't even make it interesting.      The call-up rules must change.     They can call-up 100 guys but only dress 25 per night.    KInd of like hockey  ...  give 'em a healthy scratch.

His last good outing was Game 2 of the 2014 NLDS.
