So I have been traveling for work since Tuesday at 5am with no chance to watch games or check in here...I see that Turner has been in CF...has he looked OK---or is everyone here freaking out like normal?

My mantra is, "Opinions are like jerks.    Everybody has one, knows one or is one."   :)

Obviously in the "is one" category with my Roark thoughts. He's still a Nat, so I root like hell for the dude, but he's not a favorite of mine.

I only recall one "bad" play in center.    He's been solid and his bat makes his mistake acceptable.

Just made his 1st play tonight was a routine fly ball.

He made one silly play that turned a single into a double in Cleveland but as yet his arm hadn't been tested and he's had few tough reads. His bat is playing and that matters most

Takes a man to realize he is/can be one.

I think he's looked about better than I expected. The "bad" play was just an overly aggressive play. Most CFers don't make that play either.

Can't fault the aggressive play.   I like it but he's young/new to CF.

I like he gave him his 2-3 seconds and walked away. And the call was right

Hope this isn't one of those games where we rack up runs early and do nothing the rest of the way.

Just went on for 30 seconds about what a good sign it is that Bryce showed fight by arguing with the umpire.  Also quoting Kevin Frandsen as saying Bryce will end the year at .280, 30/100.  Whatever.

Way better than Revere so far, so a big improvement there.

Lots of LOB so far.  Once with our best hitter and once with the pitcher.  We need more runs.
