You and Mit most likely know this but Kilmer almost had his NFL career end by a bad car accident around 1963(?)

I do remember that but hadn't thought about it 'til you mentioned it.    Good recall.    Didn't he play for New Orleans as well?

Do they have to say that e-v-e-r-y single time?  That Espinosa is the most dangerous #8 hitter in baseball history.

ZZ top?

I went to a Halloween Party in the mid-80s dressed (beard and all) as Billy Gibbons.    Looked pretty damn good too 'cept I had a baseball cap on.    I was Duck Dynasty before there was Duck Dynasty.   :)

We aren't really at the game but one of the wags on WNFF labeled the two guys on the aisle, front row as mitlen and spider.    We simply ran with someone else's idea.

BTW  They're really the Itkin brothers and there was an article in the Washington Post about them.

I've never seen 'em miss a game but every once in awhile, one will show up with a guest.

the way Bob and FP talk about Espi, you'd think we had Barry Freaking Bonds in our 8 spot

he could end up with 25+ HRs and 65+ RBI with the stats he has put up so far

Must've been the angle. Looked like Nimmo could've just stuck his glove out and caught that.

Nimmo doesn't look good out there. He misplayed Werth's hit earlier.
