Sorry - was in London for the past week.

Comparative dates on which the Nationals notched their 46th win, each season:

2016- 28th June (78th match of season)
2005 - 29th June (77th match)
2014 - 2nd July (84th match)
2012 - 3rd July (78th match)
2015 - 5th July (82nd match)
2013 - 7th July (88th match)
2011 - 10th July (92nd match)
2006 - 27th July (102nd match)
2010 - 31st July (104th match)
2007 - 31st July (106th match)
2008 - 22nd August (129th match)
2009 - 27th August (128th match)

Checking just now I note that the Nats were swept in LA and dropped two of three at Milwaukee - interesting that they're still holding their lead (albeit by a nose) in this comparison.
Outpacing the 2005 team at this time of year is definitely a good sign.  Just don't want to repeat what they did for the three months following June.

Ah ha !     So, it's your fault England/UK had such a rough week (Brexit/soccer).      :)

Kid looked great. Was exhausted and crashed shortly after the rain delay ended, so good to see we got the W as well.

An unhappy coincidence (interesting to be there while history was happening though, at least in the case of the Brexit - but that England loss to Iceland [watched whole thing in hotel] was as bad as anything I've seen since 1991 when Austria [a World Cup group-stage competitor the previous year] lost 1-nil to the Faeroe Islands).

And I'll be in Latvia from 6th-15th July...what parallel events may await in that case?

Latvia is in NATO so "The Bear" is more like "The Cub" on that one.

Okie doke

It would take NATO six weeks to pass a resolution.
