I tell ya, Tanner has not gotten a call all night and kazmir throws trash and gets everything. joke
Compared to a lot of the HP umpires we've gotten this year, I don't think this guy is too bad.  So far.

Im gonna say it: Revere might actually be worse than MAT. At least Taylor would occasionally hit HRs.

Why steal home with two outs and a slumping Zim hitting with two out and two strikes, no ball? Situation asks for a dirt-ball outside. Watch Jackie do it. Heck...watch the whole wonderful video. Spot Mazeroski's home run for Mitlen. I watched (on TV) the Don Larsen perfecto. Notice that Senators?

! No longer available

- group of pitchers loosing up during sprint training, I think

- the Old Fox himself, a founder of the AL (acting as rep for ball players who would jump from the NL), one of the inventors of relief pitching...especially of the intimidating RP. In 1912, Griff used Walter Johnson as a relief pitchers in between starts (imagine that current pitchers).

- Before the racing President and the San Diego Chicken,  NIck Altrock and Al Schacht were the "clown princes of baseball. That's Altrock and Schact, Washington coaches, rowing with baseball bats.

- Quick shot of Walter Johnson himself

And: Jackie Robinson ("brown-eyed handsome man") stealing home in a World Series as Yogi Berra screams bloody murder.

All the other: Hank Aaron as a Milwaukee Brave, Joe DiMaggio, Stan Musial and Ted Williams. Babe misses a pitch.

I'd say that Revere is not ready to play yet. Hard to admit it, but let Mikey T start.
