Gio Gonzalez:
Pitchers           IP    H  R   ER   BB   SO   HR   Pitch Count-Strikes
Gio Gonzalez   5.1   8   6     5       4       3       0          111-65
D Pomeranz    6.0    6   3     3       1       7       3            85-55

Even when Gio is bad, he can still strike people out. Not today.

Remember when we all had faith that Harper would do something?

Remember when people thought Harper was the best player in baseball?

I guess we're going to see how long until Rivero's arm falls off

Seems so long ago.  Hard to imagine, he's considerably below average since the first Cubs series.  The Cubs ended Harper's career over a 4 day span.  At least it happened before we gave him half a billion dollars.

So is MAT our new leadoff hitter and Revere the 4th outfielder?

I'm not sure which game I am more pissed off, last nite or tonite. Rivero needs to be sent down and at least Gio is not James Shields bad but he is trying.

Only Jose Lobotomy could fix Gio at this point.

Just looked at the standings. Didn't realize it but the Marlins have moved into 2nd place.

Mets got swept by the Braves. One hit today.

Maybe Rivero has a minor injury that the Nats could discover. Replace him with Bryan Harper. Gio...maybe the same elusive injury that HRod had: inability to throw strikes.
