Anyone remember when the home plate ump didn't throw the new ball to the pitcher until the HR hitter crossed the plate?

Harvey's command and velocity sure craters early in games.   Most healthy power pitchers don't see their velocity dip like.  They will lose their command when they get fatigued, but usually keep their velocity up.  I'm pretty surprised they are still pitching him every turn.

Carpenter said the Mets offered to skip his turn and he (Harvey) said "no".

Hitters are .510 against Harvey third time around. Just wait.
4th   Former National Asdrubal Cabrera homered to right.   1   0
4th   Zimmerman homered to left.   1   1
4th   Rendon homered to left.   1   2

       New York Mets         1
Washington Nationals 2

BoSox Jackie Bradley Jr now has a 28 game hitting streak.  Half way to the untouchable Yankee Clipper record.

That is the one record I don't expect to see broken.

Texhnically we have only two series splits, right?  That postponed game against the Marlins was made up (and we won it, thereby winning that series)

If they walk him every PA for a game, does it break the streak?
