Maybe Asdrubal Cabrera came back also.

Or Felipe Lopez?

That was a fun game. Feels good to win again even though Stras got tagged a bit.

Zimm has to get moved down in the lineup though. But in fairness the only two consistent hitters right now are Ramos and Murphy.

Zimmerman, Werth, Espinosa, Taylor, and Rendon have all been very consistent lately.  Just not in a good way.

Could have been a very different outcome had Miggie not heaved anchor and started chugging to third on that wild pitch.

Where's TigerFan these days?

Missing you!

Was a great game to see, though the wrong team came out with the  :w:  ;)

Ausmus' time is limited, or at least I hope so.   I feel about him how Skippy felt about Matty.

Another great day at the ballpark.

Umpire chose to ignore him.

True, but there's no way he didn't hear it, which is what matters.  Still a much-needed win, and maybe something to get Robinson going.  He's got a real opportunity to get some more at bats if Zimmerman keeps (not) hitting like he is.  Very good on Strasburg to MTFU and get through 7, especially with the early deficit and the distraction of the contract.  There seems to be a real mental adjustment that's happened with him.

FP and Carp made the point about Ausmus as well during the telecast.   They said he knew it too.    He's gotta know it.    Funny how they're quick to point out Ausmus' issues but there was nary a word about Matt.    Company men.

Interesting, because FP told us last year that you didn't have to worry about winning games until August.  Essentially:  "Y'all worry about y'all selves."

He's a bloviating fool...
