If you knew Ross wasn't going back out there, why let him hit?
dont use a bench player that early in game

Looks like a blister.
Probably from showing Paps his grip.

One must assume they thought he was ok.

Hope it's not serious. Maybe from lack of resin.

Doesn't hurt a blister to bat with gloves. Pitching bare handed is where issues start. And the fact it was early and Ross isn't bad with the bat probably played a part.

Anyone else wince when Petit started off Stanton with an 86 mile FB down the middle?

That'll buy him more time at the top of the lineup I'm sure.

There is no Marlins broadcast tonight.

I gathered that  just kind of weird, I mean FP and Bon don't desert us unless it's a Fox Saturday or ESPN Sunday night game right?

Solid relief start so far by Petit. If he comes out for the next inning and leaves with a leave then he may be tonight's MVP.

It is weird, but there are a couple of teams that have a small number of games go untelevised in the local market.

EDIT: Fox Sports Florida, their RSN, carries 150 games. Four more are on FOX or FS1. Guess tonight is one of eight games where fans at home are out of luck.

Love Baseball.  Taylor HRs and then the 2, 3, 4 and 5 guys cant hit it out of the infield after.

Phils just took 3-2 lead over Mets

The ump freaked Murphy over on that call.
