You know Ramos won't do anything in this spot. One of the worst clutch hitters in the league.

Same team as last year. Except we have a better 2B in Murphy.

To steal PC's term, the new triumvirate of suck: Werth, Ramos, Espinosa. We basically have a 5 man lineup offensively.

Assuming Revere isn't hurt, if Taylor shows anything then Revere and Werth will be platooning by halfway through May.

Scherzer has been down the middle too much.

Incoming Freeman 2 run jack to win the game.

This is one craptily run franchise.  The booth isn't supposed to speculate about injuries.  Solution.  Write a release from the team doc and hand it to the tv and radio booths.  End of speculation.

How possible is it that it's better that Matt Williams/Dusty Baker give medical information?

How about no one needs to know anything other than he's out of the game?

Complain about something real.

Yes, because it's totally common for starters to leave in the middle of games for no reason.

That strikeout was a meatball down the middle as well, luckily he just couldn't catch up. I'm just glad our ace could be in lockstep with the fearsome Teheran.

Better than his opening start last year though.

Will be interesting to see if Dusty pulls Scherz here with the P spot set to hit 2nd. His pitch count isn't too bad(87)but do you wanna push your ace so much in the first game? And in a tie game, you might need the offense.
