Ricochet and Sydal dropped the IWGP junior tag titles. Ricochet ate the pin. He also isn't taking any bookings after June.

He's reportedly heading to nxt. Fantastic wrestler.

So something happened at the LU season three tapings last night that makes me want to never watch the show again.

Okay. It is a very significant spoiler so only read it if you're absolutely sure you are okay with a major plot point of season three being spoiled:

Sexy Star wins the belt at next season's Aztec Warfare. One of the worst performers on the roster and she gets the belt. How fantastic. Oh, and Rey pins Matanza halfway through the match too. Because of course he does. Gotta give the rub of killing the monster to the decrepit veteran.

Here are incredible highlights from NJPW Invasion Attack this morning, Will Ospreay vs Kushida and Naito vs Okada:

Ospreay is going to be a big big star.

So Okada and Naito, the last two IWGP heavyweight champs and two of the biggest stars in Japan, were both in TNA and both were utilized very poorly. Because of course.

Very impressive. I had heard that he really impressed and showed that he isn't just a flippy crap spot monkey.

They're here.

could the announcers have done less to play up their arrival?  They were completely ho-hum, and then moved on.  Nice "bullet club" chant from the crowd though.

All the wrestlers are using the Bullet Club name on Twitter when talking about it and the official Bullet Club Twitter just acknowledged it.

Also, notice who they attacked. The Usos. Reigns' cousins. As AJ is feuding with Reigns.

you are probably thinking too hard, the writers generally don't get that subtle anymore.

This is like watching a ROH/NJPW combined show tonight.

The show has felt different the past two weeks though. Matches have stakes, they are establishing an actual pecking order on in the card, there have been squash matches to make guys look good, AJ Styles is the number one contender, Cesaro is now the number one contender to the IC title, and we are having a tournament. That all feels so bizarre compared to most recent WWE stuff. I've speculated that in exchange for more booking control, Vince made HHH get off TV and have Shane be the guy who gets the credit on screen for HHH's changes.

You just can't make this crap up. TNA reportedly is close to being sold. The rumored new owners are the Harris twins, most notable for their run as Skull and 8-Ball in the Disciples of Apocalypse in the Attitude Era. They're actual neo-Nazis.

wow, IIRC they worked as agents for TNA years ago.  I'm surprised Jeff Jarret isn't buying them to get the time slots.  GFW seems dead at the moment.

Jarrett has turned GFW into a gold-selling pyramid scheme. I'm not joking.

Lots of bullet club hints tonight. Would they be so bold as to have guns and gallows cost reigns the title and align with styles?

So I think the deal with TNA and the Harris twins is that their production company put up some funding for recent tapings and if TNA can't pay them back, they cede control to them. So TNA may literally be taken over by Nazis. Oh, and Toby Keith tried to buy it too, but he's reportedly out of negotiations because TNA management wanted to retain too much control. And now they may get forcibly taken over by Nazis instead. You cannot make this crap up.

Vega, bullet club vs shield?  Aj wins at payback with help. Reigns gets the band back together. Would be the hottest program in wwe in a long time.

Maybe... but what if AJ is being truthful and he hasn't put Gallows and Anderson up to attacking Reigns? It could be Balor, Gallows, and Anderson versus Ambrose, Reigns, and Styles. Balor is a step down from AJ in all aspects on the BC side, but it'd still be a damn good feud.
