I ate at the one out along 270 near Potomac and found it okay.  Liked the smoked bacon on a stick.    :az:

But yeah, more hype than substance.

Whatta guys eat when on the road (for work)? Going cheap, so I'm not hitting steakhouses like others... BIC. Microwave steamers and hummus so far. Need ideas for next time

Sietsema gave Lauriol Plaza a 1/2 star.  Which seems really unfair considering that the place exists primarily to enable fruitful first dates via frozen concoction delivery.

Was thinking more along the lines of cold-cut/microwave stuff. I'm in Wyoming this week...

Find a sandwich shop. I'd think you can find good meats out there. Are you in Jackson by any chance?

Yeah, I've gotten Wal-Mart/Safeway deli stuff. No, I'm up in Riverton. Drinking a Snake River Pale Ale right now though (Jackson (Hole? Is that a thing), WY).

Eggs and bacon are always good regardless of whatever crap hole you are in.  Both can be microwaved.  Greek yogurt, cliff bars, jerky, oatmeal, almonds

That too. I used to eat one every day mid morning. Don't know why I stopped. Should get back on that.  Gonna make a strawberry, banana, pb smoothie now

So you are about three hours from Jackson hole and maybe 4 from Yellowstone. Will you have any time to get out there?

Sadly, nope. This was a last minute request, so we're under the gun to get done. I'm actually heading back to Denver tomorrow. Would love to get to Yellowstone. Maybe this fall, now that I know the drive is reasonable.

Safe travels. I've been to the Teton/Yellowstone area twice. Most beautiful place in the mainland IMHO.

What is this, a trick question ?  Providing some input for law enforcement to watch 7-11 burrito consumers ?

funny you say "steamers."  Where I come from, "steamers" refers to clams steamed in shells. pick out the clam, clean its neck, dip in butter, eat.  Drink the broth, too.  Guessing you aren't getting those kind of steamers out in Wyoming.
