The Washington Nationals had five aces in their rotation last year.
I think Betances could wear down this year because of his workload the last 2 years, but Miller and Chapman should be elite barring injury and Betances certainly should be dominant. Will be fun to watch for sure.

MLB.com's Jesse Sanchez reports that the White Sox and Orioles are "emerging as leaders for now" in the chase for free agent outfielder Yoenis Cespedes.Sanchez also ticks off the Angels and Giants as suitors for Cespedes' services. Not mentioned, the Mets, who fell off the map earlier this month after offering the 30-year-old outfielder a reported token deal of two or three years. Cespedes is likely looking for something closer to a six-year, $100 million contract. He was a monster in August and September, socking 17 homers and 44 RBI in 57 games for the Mets after being dealt from the Tigers.
What is the thought on how he will age? high K rates (20+% Ks), high power, far above average O-swing rate but near average contact rate the past couple of years (within .6%).
Looks like the Dodgers in on Kenta Maeda
Who is Kenta Maeda ?
Hearing from my sources that Alex Gordon is going back to KC.
NOW, you're telling us you have sources???
Jon Morosi reporting that the Padres and Ian Desmond are in discussions. Is their pick protected?
Please let that happen. The Padres are my new favorite train wreck to watch and seeing Ean Desmond strikeout at Petco would be awesome.
Doesn't matter. The Nats will still get the comp pick in the same place as it would be if a team with an unprotected pick signed him.
http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/01/stewart-dbacks-wont-sacrifice-another-draft-pick-for-free-agent-signing.htmlcan someone explain why this makes sense to me? I'd think that teams would do the opposite- i.e. the cost attached to each subsequent signing is less than the prior signing, so if you're going to give up one pick you might as well give up several
It helps if you take every Diamondbacks move and assume it makes the OPPOSITE of sense.
