Maybe he hasn't so much checked out as been completely disheartened because he naively thought that team meant family.

That could be the case. I wonder if he'll hit another homer this year.

Braves announcers making a case that the Braves bullpen is the weak spot of the team.

Aha! Bryce ran that one out!

BSPN will say "see, Papelbon taught him the lesson he deserved, young punk...  Get off my lawn!"

"That's leadership on Pap's part"

No, when you said he's checked out I thought you were referring to them being eliminated from the playoffs.
No I mean mentally, he just DGAF. And I don't blame him.

I forgot we play the Mets to close the season. They're going to run a train on us. :smh:

Won't they rest their young pitchers at this point? Does home field matter that much to them?

Hard to predict. Might be the series when the Nats start to hit.

Gio - Syndegard
Max - Harvey
PTBN - DeGrom

Unless the Mets decide to sit them all to prepare for LA...

I would think they would want home field. Syndegaard is due to pitch tomorrow. They may have to play three games Sunday with the rain!

Considering we were "              " this close to being swept by the Braves we don't have much room to talk.

"Beat Baltimore?"  Nope, didn't happen.
