He's also never been in this position.
He could ask Zimmerman for tips, he's got plenty of experience being in this position.

Zimmerman has put up an ungodly MVP season only to get choked out by a douchebag relief pitcher, thrown under the bus by his Manager, and then basically had a substantial number of people publicly say that he was  essentially asking for it?

Another day, another pitcher's ERA improved by the Nats.

Worst offensive Nats team ever, at least for the last couple weeks.

Can't hit minor league pitchers.

Only this pitcher looks like he should still be in junior high

One interesting thing about getting the MLB.com feed is hearing the Braves announcers. Tom Glavine insists that Harper is MVP and it's not close.

Is it the give-away Blake or the hold-fast Blake?

Tonight is a perfect example for me about how much time is wasted in pro football  ...  still catching a lot of the Nats' game.

It's the 7th and Treinin walks a .184 hitter.

Blake could really use a season of garbage time.

Matt won't talk to him so McCatty walks out to talk to Blake.

Gameday had two of those as balls in the zone. Were they close?

No, when you said he's checked out I thought you were referring to them being eliminated from the playoffs.

It'd be cool if Marksberry was from Wilkes-Barre.

Maybe he hasn't so much checked out as been completely disheartened because he naively thought that team meant family.

I like how they have to show Clint's swing 4 times in the highlight clip because there basically has been no other offensive highlight.
