Just throwing this out there, I've got nothing against the guy but what about Knorr? He wanted the managers job, seemed gracious in defeat when it went to Williams but that had to be a tough pill to swallow-what if subconsciously he kind of sabotaged Williams behind the scenes? The players all love him we know that, what if he was just a little too sympathetic when they'd come to nag about Williams? Human nature would kind of make him want to prove "you should've picked me" no? Or am I way off base? 
No, Williams would have gone to Rizzo or something if that happened. But who knows? This team is surrounded in mystery.
