Those are tasty!

A boy's got to eat.    He won't be having many more free meals.

"The bullpen couldn't hold the lead" applies to lots of games this season, Bob.

Nope. He's technically on the field

Not a chance with the HR title in play.

So we're all in agreement then, right, fellas? Ramos to relief pitcher?

Everyone plays the last game at the same time? Is that new this year?

I've barely watched a game for weeks, I feel like a bandwagoner but this season has me so deflated. and taking it in the rear from a terrible Braves team is the rubber stamp

Harper is due, as they say.

He's already checked out for the season.  :hang:

From MLB COO:

Quote
"If a game impacts another game, they're all occurring at the same time, so no team would be put into a lame-duck situation because their fate already had been decided by an earlier result. If we do have games coming down to the wire, we want to make sure we maximize that day. We're hopeful that the races will come down to the last day of the season. We want to make sure we celebrate the end of the season properly."

Quote
There were two instances last season in which simultaneous starts would have impacted the way the final day played out.
