I hope the helmet removal goes the way of the Michael Morse song.

Glad Paps isn't here...he'd be on Max for not running hard on that

I'd love to know what Max said to Papelbon in the dugout after the confrontation.

I'm going to miss Ian Desmond...errors and strikeouts and all. Something about Desmond's expression after he pried Harper loose from Papelbon and covered Harper's back as they walked away.

He's always been a good "soldier".

That's one tradition I would like them to keep, actually.  Who took the helmet off? I noticed yesterday Bryce was the one taking off helmets for Desmond and den Dekker.

I'm good either way.

he's arguably been the leader of this club for at least the last couple of seasons, it will be interesting to see who steps up next year - i'd bet it's Harper.

Could be, but Harper won't walk to the mound like Desmond does to calm a pitcher down or talk strategy.

I'm not sure Desi can spell strategy, much less discuss it...

Scherzer's lucky Bruce wasn't trying to swing at that. That pitch was asking for trouble.

Turner looks so young. Just looking at their faces, Michael Taylor and Trea Turner look like eager Little Leaguers.
