Harper and Papelbon in a choking fight in the dugout. The crap has hit the fan.

Papelbon just bought himself a ticket out of town. And proves that Williams can't manage his own dugout. He's done too.

Yeh. Sort of.  Saw him dog some ground ball outs against the Mets though.
Papelbon is just mad about his remarks after the beaning. You shouldn't throw your teammate under the bus.

Rizzo is getting fired for trading for Papelbon.  I'm sure of it now.

I am sure there will be many teams anxious to sign Papelbon.  :hysterical:
They are stuck with him for 2016.

That might be. But I'm sure Pap just bought his ticket out of town. And ensured that MW should be cannced. Can't have fights in the dugout.

I'd give Ian a hand.    He's been a good soldier.

Just cut him and eat the salary. Can't have a guy like that on the team.

Not gonna happen. No team will eat that much salary.

No doubt. That's the classy thing to do no matter how frustrating his play has been this year. He contributed to turning this franchise around.

Why is Harper out? Papelbon started it.

Just pay him to sit on a beach, I don't care. Just get him out of here.

Not really. He sulked for a second then trotted. I remember a thread about "playing with a sense of urgency". While it doesn't matter now, these are the kind of things that we're talking about. The Nats have played this way all season. Papelbon shouldn't have hemmed him up like that, but goodness, somebody needs to light a fire under this team next year.

The amazing thing is that those two seem like the only ones who care. Did you notice how no one got between them when they started jawing?  No leadership on this team.

I'm hoping both Papelbon, Janssen, and Williams are gone at season's end. I hate to see Desmond leave.

Only one on the team who has been benched for a lack of hustle :stir:

The first one in was Desmond.
