Trea Turner handing out bobbleheads tonight.

Well, LAC.  Figured they were already paying him and wanted to get some work out of him.

Werth just needs to pretend he's playing the Phillies every game.

Should've just played it on a hop rather than try to be a hero.

The Nats can't even score 4 runs.

Exactly.  That's why FP is an idiot.

To be honest, I think FP knows he's spouting nonsense when he says things like that but he's terrified to be even slightly critical of this team.

It would happen, FP.  It would just be one less run.

Considering what happened to his predecessor, I don't blame him for not wanting to be critical of the team.

I need to go to one more game to use the ecash on my cards.  Can't say the team store excites me right now...guess I'll pull a Joey Chestnut instead.
So glad I ate my tickets for tonight and stayed home.

I think this team might not win another game this season.  Add to the fact that they have nothing to play for to their already lackadaisical play when they do have something to play for, every other team in baseball is more motivated than they are right now.

We'll probably sweep the Mets once we've been eliminated.

Bryce is going to lose the batting title over the last ten games unless he sits out the rest of the season.

Sadly, yes. Taylor dove for a shallow fly ball and whiffed on it.

Earlier in the game the guy in the row in front of me in 208 got a ball. Hit him in the chest and fell in his soda cup. Was that you BIL?
