...   and the Pope coming to town tomorrow.    A day/night double header tomorrow would be a CF.    Do both teams have Thursday off?

I'd rather play til 2.  If they start moving days around, we might get Chen or Gausman, their only two good starters.

Missus just told me Friday night (Phillies) looks iffy as well.

If a makeup was Thursday, wouldn't the Orioles keep the same pitching order, starting tonight's starter tomorrow ?

If a game is played on Thursday, they can use Chen on normal rest and drop Wilson.  They've already dropped Wright who was supposed to start tonight.  Wright is their absolute worst starter and they already took him from us.

O'S ADAM JONES OUT WITH BACK SPASMS

The CF is out of Monday's starting lineup vs. the Nats, but manager Buck Showalter says he expects Jones to play Tuesday. Earlier, Jones said he was dealing only with recurring soreness and that his off day is "not a story."

Official: the start of the game has been delayed. I probably lost the twitter race on this. I'm okay with that. Got some time to kill.

This is a team we can sweep. Their lineup is in shambles, their pitching is a far cry from last year (and we're missing their most consistent, lefty Wei-Yin Chen). Just don't let them take a lead to their bullpen which is still among the best. But their starters have been so inconsistent, there's a good chance of that.

It's battle of the wild pitchers, both of these guys can walk a bunch of guys, perfect matchup. Lay off everything Ubaldo throws until he proves he can throw it for a strike, pray for a solid game from Gio and move on.

I want to see baseball, damnit. Even though Ubaldo will probably go complete game on us.

Pope has connections.    Maybe he can call off this rain.

Cool!  Now if we could get Darold Knowles into the back end of the 'pen we'd be ready for the stretch run.    :whip:
