That would be so cool to know that we could watch Harper for so many years. Dude is worth the price of admission by himself.

If you have Mickey Mantle, you pay him whatever it takes. And Bryce plays like Mantle if Mantle had not torn his knee as a young player. This is amazing.

I saw all those '50s and '60s guys: Vernon, Yost, Sievers, Killebrew, Howard. Harper is better than any one of them...of course Hondo hit harder and farther, but you count home runs...not how many homers went into the upper deck at DC Stadium. Harper plays like a combination of the best quality of each. Could probably play 1B (Vernon) or 3B (Yost) if the Nats wanted. Has the arm for 3B.

Sign Harper for Werth-like money, whatever that is now.
