Hernandez was ducking to get out of the way.

Absolutely hit him on the shoulder...

Good hustle to first. It's sad that has to be complimented but the way this team has done it the past few years...

That sounds like the perfect slogan for the Nats in October. :?

In reply to earlier posts in the thread, IMO Roark is better than Lannan. He's a solid #4 or #5.

Definitely better than Lannan. Better stuff and better makeup IMO.

Lannan broke Utley's hand, which kind of makes him a #3 by default.

Well, I guess Roark would need another year starting to see if teams have figured him out.  I mean to do a fair comparison.

I actually think it's the other way around.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect many pitchers at all to have great numbers the way he's been jerked around this year. If Strasburg were switching roles this often his ERA would look like a defensive lineman's jersey number.

you know its a meaningless October when I am aborting a Nats game to watch an NFL game between 2 non-contending teams that I don't support.

Both those teams will definitely contend for a playoff spot.

They're asking Manning to actually throw passes more than 3 yards past the line of scrimmage.
