They are reading the thread again and trying to get us to feel bad.

I think most people like Ian and appreciate his attempts at leadership on a team that sorely lacks it, but the reality is that at a time when he was one of the few healthy starters we had, he killed us with K's and errors.  Just killed us.  And it was predictable, because he does it every year.  Time to move on.

Healthy Span and Rendon for a full season would have helped that quite a bit.

Yes. Escobar was the right kind of addition. Assuming Desmond is replaced with someone who can make contact and they do something about Ramos, this should be an exciting offense that can string stuff together and play much more situationally than it has in years.

This. Great team guy; flawed hitter; unwilling to make adjustments to become a better. Can't believe a major league hitter with a sub .300 OBP refuses to look at film.

No, the players are the ones that should feel bad.  We shelled out mega $ for lackadaisical effort, half-assed mental focus and overall suckitude.  We put up with it for months.  "Ya'll worry about ya'll selves", were were told, as if our warnings were ignorant.  Well a week ago, we were 4 games out, now it's 9.  Who's stupid now?

Who said "Ya'll worry about ya'll selves" and what was the context? I missed that.

I think it was Rendon.
