Roark getting hit hard. Bullpen likely to get hit hard. Caught between a rock and a hit hard place.

I'm not sure I've ever actually seen Solis not give up at least a run.

I believe his thumb is as broken as much as Moore was having back problems 20-25 days ago, and Uggla having some sort of injury a day after a pinch-hit appearance a little over a month ago.

In other words, not at all. Rizzo clearly loves making up injuries.

Maybe the locker story really is a cover up. The real story may be that he aimed a bullet at his head and was wide of the zone and caught his thumb.

In the meantime there is a pretty good ballgame airing on ABC between Oregon and Michigan St.

Well, until now.

But he pitched two scoreless against the Braves on September 3 along with three appearances in July.

Quality prospect. Want to see him develop.

I'm multi-tasking.

Is it really multi-tasking when all you're doing is watching a college football game and watching the Nats take a crap at the same time?

It's unbelievable that Scherzer won't even win 15 games this season.

Not really, considering how poorly he pitched in the second half.

He wasn't charged with any runs against the Braves, but he let some inherited runners score. Maybe mindfact but I think he sucks at stranding runners.

No he didn't.

Started the 7th and pitched two innings, giving up zero runs and striking out 4.

Bryce with the choke

Joe Ross in to pitch in relief. Quality use of the guy right there, Rizzo. Never mind just letting him make one more start and shut him down for next season.

He did on the game I'm thinking of, a few days later. He came in with two men and one out and let both score.

Just let Joe's season die with dignity already.
