Does the Times have a Nats beat reporter? I thought they went fully political since they went online only.

I claim ignorance on the Times.   I don't read it.

really really disappointing loss considering the offensive opportunities/miscues.  And now comes Kershaw and Greinke.  Sigh...

I figured after they dismissed Loverro, they were finished with sports.

I read a little of his tweeting from today online.    You should be following him.   I would too if I knew how.    :P    Can you tweet him and inquire about his asking the question?

I did. I doubt he'll answer. He could already have inserted himself into the story, he didn't.  JOURNALISM! :)

I'm not sure which reporter asked it, but after Matty said "we're looking foward" he said something like "do you ever look back at what happened? Don't you have to do that to learn from what went wrong?"

Matty snapped something like if we aren't looking forward to playing tomorrow what the hell are we doing here?

Thanks...just got home...this made the trip worthwhile...  :)

"Don't you have to look back in order to try and improve in the future?"  Williams seemed angry and said, "No.  We have to get ready for tomorrow.  There's nothing we can do about it (the loss) today."

If you see a guy with a bag over his head and a nats cap over the bag during the dodgers series this week, that'll be me.  I'm also thinking of bringing in a fire matt williams sign.

I'll be at the game where Kershaw will undoubtedly no-hit them.

And therein lies one of our problems.

It was worse than that. He tried to belittle the reporter like it wasn't a valid question. freak Matt Williams. Get the syringe out your ass and learn how to do your job freakhead.

Yup..."Well you'd think that, but as the manager of this team..."

Someone finally looking for some answers and he gets junk punched.

Williams is an asshat...no wonder the players don't care for him...

He doesn't seem to have much of a personality. And not too bright but thinks he is, and that does not bode well for the team.

Inexcusable series loss. The Nats had to go 5-2, and had an opportunity, this should have been a sweep of the Rockies, not to mention the debacle that was the Dbacks series. Drew Storen single-handedly loses two games for us, that damn choker. But the Nationals deserved it considering they blew time after time to pad the lead. The Nats should be a solid half or even 1.5 games in first. The Mets lose a series to the woeful Rays and the Nats blow the opportunity. And freak CarGo.

The Nats need to prove they have any cojones and beat Kershaw and Greinke, no excuses, our staff is supposed to be good too. Zim, pitch a freaking game like you did for three or four years. Or learn to throw a ball once in a while. Batters, these guys are hittable, play fundamentally sound baseball, have good ABs, and at worst, pummel their bullpens. A bunch of first-pitch outs or three-pitch Ks are going to leave those Cy Young candidates in for 8 or more innings, work them and get them out.

On the plus side, I think the Face is back, and we need him to be, since apparently Span will not be.

I posted earlier that it sounded like Boz but shook my head and moved on.    I couldn't believe Williams would be so dismissive of Boswell.   Well, looks like I was right and wrong.    It was Boz and Williams was dismissive of him.    I see a column coming from Boz.
