The Lerners will give him the first $400 million dollar contract.  He ain't leaving.

That would be nice, but I think the yankees would pay more and he's said many times that he wants to play for them.  I wouldn't mind if he ended his career there just to fulfill his dream, but yeah would be nice to keep him in a nats uni throughout his prime years.

Desmond is an offensive and defensive cancer.

Really surprised Werth didn't break his wrist there.

You mean, you're impressed that he threw caution to the wind because it's about giving it everything you got?

Narrowly avoided, he screwed up his own getaway car
That's all the evidence you need to know that Desmond should be DFAed and charged with grand larceny.

Too bad Desmond will eventually bat and ruin this inning.

That was as a child, basically.  He's repeatedly said he loves Washington.  Whether it's lip service, who knows.

he said that when he was a kid. He's said dozens of times he wants to stay in DC since then. So take all of that for what it's worth.

All I have ever read was that he was a Yankee fan growing up. He keeps saying how he wants to bring a title to D.C. and how he thinks it would be interesting to wear the same uniform his entire career.

One of my mormon buddies claims to have seen him wearing a yankees hat at a party last year.  I do know that my friend is a yankees buddy too so he could have just been messing with me.
