No. I use a special pitch track.

A really great piece from SI  about the Atlantic League. With a focus on the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. It talks a lot about the rule changes they’re experimenting with. It’s a long read but read on so you can get to the section about automated strakes. It’s a great read...well worth it   https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.si.com/mlb/2019/07/25/baseball-rule-changes-atlantic-leaguers

So I went to the Atlantic League's game today in Waldorf between the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and the Somerset (NH) Patriots. To see the electronic ump in action.

As far as I could tell it was seamless. Most people in the stands probably have no idea. The ump had an ear piece in his left ear and he called balls and strikes just like normal. No delays. And the zone seemed about the same. The only thing I noticed is that players were not complaining and the catcher was not trying to frame pitches. :mg: :mg: :mg: :mg:

I'm telling you this technology is coming real soon to MLB. I was told that MLB has a rep at every game monitoring every pitch.
