I'm sorry I have to divulge this, but Bubba I hope it doesn't give you heart failure.  I'm a Bernie supporter

Thank you for keeping it upbeat

Unfortunately, Hillary has rebounded, slightly, in the past couple days.   So I'm cranky.   (I absolutely loathe that fat cow.)

Ray's got a bit of the ol' Trump in him.

Losses like these should be clarifying.  The entire staff needs to go.  Matt Williams doesn't think well enough or quickly enough in pressure situations and his staff, apparently, suffers from the same affliction   He either gets terrible advice from them or he doesn't listen.  I wonder if any of his coaches have ever said to Matt Williams that he's making a bad decision?

Who on the staff, other than Williams, was in favor of Gio hitting for himself with runners on and one out...in a game where they were already losing...when they can't afford to lose anymore?

I'm really starting to think there is something wrong with the guy, whether due to steroid use, or too many HBP to the head, whatever.  I really don't think his mental faculties work properly.

Runners at the corners. One out. A pitcher with control issues who he pulled two outs (and 2 runs) later.

Said pitcher bunts into a doubleplay.

That'd be a managerial decision. Whether or not other managers would make the same call is up for discussion. But that's the biggest place where I'd say managerial choice mattered last night.

He's let the pitcher hit with runners on almost every time this season. Standard decision.

For him? Totally. How many times has he pulled the pitcher without any outs being recorded? Too many. I figure at least last night Gio got two more before being yanked.

False inference.  Trump is a joke.  He's a dunce and a clown.  Though I'd vote for him over Hillary.   She's a liar, a cheat, a despicable person.  I'd vote for anyone over her. Sanders  would be fine.  Biden would be fine.    I like Carlie Fiorina  best right now.

After reading Fiorina's resume and results, she might be on my "no can do" list.     In all the years I've voted in Presidential elections, I have never voted for a Republican or a Clinton.    I don't see that changing.

The Clintons' lack morals but I might still vote for her.  I think Bubba did a good job despite his "off the field exploits."  Do you really want someone honest facing off with Putin and some others?  I like Kasich and would probably vote for him although like others I am sure he will mess with my Federal pension and health care. Fiorina is obviously smart but she did a poor job as a CEO and seems to lack the ability to surround herself with advisors who will tell her the truth; I assume because she knows she is smarter than everyone.  That to me is very dangerous in a President.  I really don't know what to think about Trump.

what's wrong with her Lucent tenure- artificially inflating sales, then jumping before everything comes crashing down- seems like a great tale of survival

I guess that is why HP picked her up?  She seems to lack any recent offers to be a CEO.

I'm as left as they get, but I'd vote for Kasich- he seems like the only even keeled candidate (which is a nice quality in a president)

I'd vote for Kasich because he's Pennsylvania born and bred.   :)    I also agree with HS's description.

That's a valid criticism, but you called her a "fat cow" which is a physical reference irrelevant to how she might do the job as President, hence the Trump reference.  He too is fixated on irrelevant insults.

he also knows how the budget works and would likely be able to work with the congressional committees having been there; that is something that is often lacking in picking former governors and which Obama also lacks.
