Last week. He caught himself and added something along the lines of "and hopefully many more after that" later.

TV, radio, or print? Any links?

I hope Bryce doesn't break his ankle sliding into second until after he leaves the Nats. Someone teach him how to slide.

It was a locker room situation, I believe. Links exist somewhere, I'm sure.

He has been a joy to watch this year. The sky is the limit for this guy if he stays healthy.

Link or not, he said it. I've heard it from too many sources for it not to be true.

And it doesn't matter.  How could he possibly know where he's going to be playing after three years?  The Lerners have made NO OFFER to him beyond those three years.  How/why would he assume that he'd be playing here then?

Here's the Nats Insider link and quote. I'd like to see a audio or video of it to really get the nuance of what he meant to say.

http://natsinsider.com/2015/09/28/harper-believes-he-and-papelbon-can-move-on-from-fight/

“I think I got three more years at Nats Park, so I think I’m okay. Being able to play in front of these fans has been a lot of fun for me. I have three more years to play here and hopefully a lot longer. It’s somewhere I love to play and it’s somewhere I love to be.”

It's disappointing to me to hear him talk about working things out with Papelbon.   I don't want that scumbag here, no matter what.

This a thousand times. The site of that douchebag makes me sick to my stomach. If he comes back, he will be reviled and booed mercilessly by Nats fans.

Keep telling you guys he will be back; funny how Haroer seems able to get over it faster than the fans.

If he saves games fans will cheer and forget it.  People like winners.  It's gonna be tough enough to rebuild the bullpen with him.  Would hope they could get a closer and use him in the eighth.

Harper is professional and is saying the right things about getting over it. I will cheer for Pap if he is wearing a Nats uniform but Nats fans won't cut him any slack. They will be all over him with every single mistake.

Unless you plan on punting next season, he won't back.  They'll try to trade him and get no takers then they'll release him.  His presence is too corrosive.

Harper's agent will make it perfectly clear that bringing him back is completely unacceptable.

A healthy Zimm would fill one of those needs.

The chances of getting a healthy Zimm aren't good.
