Good. Get healthy. He's our offense for the rest of the season.

He looks healthy probably doesn't want to ruin his swing

Rendon will be back after the ASB hopefully with Werth soon to follow.  Having 4 .300 hitters at the top of the lineup will be invaluable.

I doubt Werth is going to be back any time soon. Certainly not hitting .300. And his shoulder has probably killled his power.

Rendon is going to have a season of nagging injuries.

I mean Werth isn't gonna hit 20+ homers ever again, that was obvious last year, but he still put up 5.0 WAR with just a .163 ISO last year.  If he can come back and hit .280/.360/.430 that'll go a long way.

I think we're better off with Taylor in LF and Robinson/T-Mo at 1B.

We badly need Rendon back. Rendon in the order replaces Desmond. We badly need Span to play almost every day. His bat at leadoff is invaluable.

Completely agree but jeez back issues are scary and if he's getting mri's and going to specialists for back pain it doesn't sound like it's a little tweak of something :(

Probably related to the abdominal surgery and subsequent weakness. Let's hope for the best.

Bryce Harper does not like hitting at Camden Yards because he does not see the ball well here.

You have to forgive Thorne. He's never been to a Bryce Harper Laser Show.

Carpenter takes less time than that to be wrong.   IIRC   It was less than 3.2.    Didn't they do a replay counting the seconds?    :)

Today's Express newspaper has a photo of Bryce on the cover with 2 checkboxes: love him or hate him. Says that despite shattering the NL record for all-star votes he's still one of the most polarizing players.

Harper batting third in the NL lineup. Williams should take note.

do u believe the Os Camden Chat blog dedicated an entire story to harper's comment about the lighting?  Their hatred and jealousy of DC really grates.  Honestly, I was more than willing to keep it friendly with the Os but their fan behavior over the years has really shown their true colors.  They're the worst, even worse than Philly or Atl.

Ton Tango and Mitchell Lichtman claim that 3rd is the 5th most vaulable spot in the line up.

Claiming this innocuous comment by Harper is more than enough to boo him. Yet they scream and cheer for the felonious bat throwing Machado.

I really don't mind him batting 4th when Span leads off.  I'm actually ok with a guy like Escobar who is contact heavy and tough to K hitting 3d.  Contact and ISO are important for 3d.  A healthy Rendon 2d and Harper 4th, then whoever is healthier - RZ or Werth.
