I don't really care of Bryce is humble.  Just stay healthy, hit and keep his mouth shut about things that are not his concern (for instance who is the lineup).

Lots of the national commentator morons (Skip Bayless, Colin Cowhered) read into Wall's opening night dance that he was a goofball and somehow a party boy off the court.  That was a total misread by those guys.

And thats my argument. It's no more,  "He's one of the greatest ... for his age." He's no longer the teenage phenom. It's his fourth season. It's time to put up or shut up.

Not in my opinion, but it's different when you're struggling with parts of your game and your team sucks. It makes you look unserious in the eyes of some (as it did at the time for John).

And that was my point to Stateman, who said he "always" liked Wall because he is humble among other things. In his early years, Wall was perceived as vain, arrogant, and overrated by many around the NBA. The same way Stateman perceives Bryce now. I never had a problem with it, but the dancing during his intros when he first arrived to the league really kicked off that perception of him.

If not for frozen winter fairways, or baked summertime under-watered public courses, many of us would struggle to hit 220.

I'm not good by any means but often times, the well kept manicured courses are "easier" than the public courses.    Along with the frozen winter or sun baked summer fairways of public courses come greens that are awful.    Sand traps that have the consistency of cement.    Many of us spend more time around the green than getting to the green so bad greens show up in the total score.     Some of the well kept courses are more forgiving as well.    They want you to keep paying $175 or more for a round of golf.    They don't wanna piss you off.     Public courses can be the Walmart of golf.     :)
