Only one sort of hard hit ball that entire 4 run inning.

That was nice.
Indeed.  I was about to go finish  cutting the grass but gas can was empty, so came back in  and was rewarded.

Looks like bad Scherzer showed up tonight. Better hope the offense isn't done for the night.

Sack up Scherzer! Aces don't do this crap after being given the lead.

Four guys ahead of Scherzer in the lineup all have batting averages lower than him.

Man, is it getting old watching this lineup:
-- DenDekker is maybe barely a AAA player at this point.  And don't give me that crap about his hustle and scrappiness.  That's great, but the independent leagues are filled with guys who would be in the majors if that's all that was needed.
-- Dan Uggla should be out of baseball.  Sorry, but that's a fact.  It was a sign that our bench was weak when he was on it, and now he's starting?
-- I'm PO'd that Ramos and Desmond, who are so sorely needed with all our big bats silenced, have been so terrible.
-- For several years I've been reading that Moore just needed regular at bats to show that he could hit major league pitching.  He's getting his chance and he's hitting .213.

I'm sick of seeing the revolving door that is our DL.  Rendon, Strasburg, Werth, Span all have come off only to go back on.  Zimmerman belonged on it long before he finally wound up there.  Has there been a time all season when we didn't have at least one reliever out, not even counting Stammen? (Well, there have been such times, but you know what I mean.)

Very frustrating.  Even with the runs just scored in this game, it feels like 2009, when we would get excited because we got some bloops and breaks to actually take a lead.

My big fear is that the injuries to Rendon, Strasburg, Werth, Span and Zimmerman are all ones that won't really heal this season, effectively dooming us to a September of Robinson hitting clean up, followed by various combinations of Uggla/Moore/DenDekker/Burris/godknowswho.

Not knocking anyone personally. Not giving up on the season.  Just frustrated with what we have to work with right now.

Zimmerman should be on the perpetual DL even during the offseason.

When's the last time Taylor hit a homer, when we were still the Expos?

Kang is not pronounced Gung Bob.  It's Gang. Or just say it like it's spelled.
