Its nice to see Harper on the cover during Spring training. It'll be nicer seeing the entire team on the cover in the November issue.

Great photoshoot location.

Off topic  ...  looks like the Memorial could use some work.   Of course, it appears to be the side (SW corner?) that most tourists don't see.

I'm actually amazed at how good our monuments look. I've traveled all over the world and most in other countries are not as pristine as DC. I was shocked when I was in London at how COVERED in suit the monuments/cathedrals etc., were - they were black - yuck

Ours are way more better :)

Great photoshoot location.

Disagree.  If the word play is "Washington's Monument" then why not hold the shoot at . . . say . . .  the Washington Monument?

:?

I think the feds determine where/when professional photo shoots can be made at the Memorials, etc.    May be why you don't see Abe as well.   Plus, GW's on the cover.    Really lookin' forward to gettin' this weeks edition in the mail.

I've traveled a fair amount and (though I'm not objective) DC is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We just take it for granted.

I love the low skyline - I feel claustrophobic when I go to NYC.

I like NYC but the open skies of DC are the best.

Thomas Jefferson would be happy you said that. He wanted the city to have "a light and airy character" like Paris, where he served as ambassador.
