Going to tonight's game with my kid for the Stras bobblehead, but may not be able to get there terribly early. The last couple of bobblehead games I've gone to I've been early enough that running out wasn't going to be an issue, but that may not be true today. In folks' experience, which is the best gate to head to if you're going to be arriving late, and what's the latest prior to 1st pitch I'll plausibly have a shot? Thanks for any thoughts.

I think if you get there after 7 you are taking your chances.

The gates all run out about the same time but I was once successful in getting ones real late at the RF gate.

Worst case scenario they usually have a deal where you can buy a shirt from the team store and get a bobblehead with the purchase.

I saw pictures of Roark and Barrett giving out bobbles. On Twitter. That's also where I saw a lot of shots being taken at Stras for not being at the gate to give out his own bobble. It seems that some fans never pass on a chance to take a cheap shot at Stras.

Say! I've got a great idea! You know that pre-game ritual you always do because you're a starting pitcher and EVERY single starting pitcher in the Majors has? Yeah, don't do that today. You've got a bobblehead to hand out. That's going to be your pre-game today! Go get em, son!

Bobbleheads have not been being going as fast this year but this one could be different.

The freaking security announced they weren't opening the gate I was at after others had said all gates would open. Now I'm stuck across N Street and I'm mighty pissed at the Nats' incompetent staff.

I can't go tonight so instead I think I'll eat a Trader Joe's fruit bar with chia seeds in honor of the event.

Does anyone know if those things start to grow if you water them with Stoli?
